When you call, it helps to know which fixtures are affected, whether water is still moving and how to reach the basement. If water is moving, we will walk you to the main valve first.
If you smell gas, leave the house before calling anyone, and call your gas utility from outside. Once the utility has made it safe, we repair the piping.
What to have ready
- The address and the closest cross street.
- What you see, and where in the house.
- Whether the main valve is off.
- The best way into the basement or utility room.
